What are Advisor meetings and how do they work?

Modified on Tue, Jun 30 at 12:53 PM

Periodically throughout the year, students will receive an email invitation to schedule a meeting with their advisor. Meetings take place virtually on Google Meet, and students are expected to have their camera and microphone on and actively participate in the conversation.

These meetings are about 15 minutes long and focus on:

  • Discussing the student's academic progress
  • Troubleshooting any challenges
  • Setting goals

Typically, these meetings happen four times a year, but your student's advisor may request additional meetings if your student appears to need more support.

Parents and guardians are always welcome to attend, but students must be active participants in the meeting.
