MiaPlaza's K-8 and High School Programs Accredited by WASC

MiaPlaza, Inc. has received accreditation from the Accrediting Commission for Schools, Western Association of Schools and Colleges (ACS-WASC) for our K-8 programs: Miacademy, Always Icecream, Clever Dragons, and MiaPrep. We are now officially recognized as a Supplementary Education Program (SEP) by the WASC.

As more and more parents look for online education solutions, the WASC recognized the importance of programs that extend beyond the traditional classroom. While we are not required to seek accreditation, we pursued the WASC's accreditation to demonstrate the high-quality of our programs.

Our K-8 program met the WASC's accreditation criteria for Art, Culture, Language, Life Skills, Math, Music, Reading, Science, and Writing. This accreditation assures parents that their children are receiving a high-quality education.

At MiaPlaza, we also offer two online high school programs: MiaPrep and MiaPrep Online High School. We are proud to say that MiaPrep has received SEP accreditation from WASC as well, validating the efficacy of our curriculum. However, it's important to note that students who use MiaPrep's curriculum still follow their local homeschool laws.

Additionally, we are excited to announce that MiaPrep Online High School has now received full accreditation from WASC, allowing our students to earn transferable credits and a diploma. This program offers students access to live teachers, limited assignment grading, special events, and the opportunity to earn a diploma from MiaPrep Online High School.

Our accreditation from WASC is a testament to our commitment to providing high-quality educational offerings that go beyond the traditional classroom setting. We are honored to receive this accreditation and will continue to strive for excellence in our programs.
