- Student must be eligible to enroll in a West Virginia public school to qualify
- Awards $5,435.62 for the 2026–27 school year
- For new applicants, the Hope Scholarship Board accepts applications year-round, but the timing of the original application determines the award amount for the student's initial year of participation
